Items We Can Use

The next time you are shopping and would like to pick up some items to donate, please consider the following:

  • Fresh, frozen, or canned fruits and vegetables
  • Fresh eggs, milk, and cheese
  • Fresh, frozen, or canned meat (store-bought or processed in a state or federally licensed facility)
  • Bread, bagels, English muffins, pasta, rice
  • Cooking staples like spices, butter, oil, flour, salt, pepper
  • Gluten-free and dairy-free items
  • Shelf-stable items like cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly, canned meat, canned beans, canned soups, and spaghetti sauce
  • Baby items, including baby food, diapers, and wipes
  • Personal care items like toothpaste, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, and tissues
  • Households items like paper towels, laundry and dish soap, sponges, new kitchen utensils
  • Pet food
  • Vitamins

Non-perishable donations are accepted 24/7 and can be left in the cabinet outside. Please bring perishable items during business hours, Monday - Thursday, between 9 am and 3 pm.

Items We Can't Use

  • Home-canned or homemade goods, including home-processed meat
  • Rusty, dented or unlabeled canned goods
  • Opened items with the food exposed
  • Food expired more than six months
  • Candy, soda, and other sweets
  • Medications / Prescriptions or over-the-counter drugs
  • Plastic containers
  • Plastic bags
  • Egg cartons
  • Glass jars
  • Clothes and other non-food items that aren't listed in the donation list above
