North Valley Food Bank – We Love Our Volunteers!

How to get involved:

We love what we do, but remain hopeful that the day will come when our services are no longer needed. North Valley Food Bank is special because of its wonderful volunteers. In 2011, an average of 50 volunteers put in over 8,200 hours helping their neighbors. NVFB is a responsible nonprofit enabling supporters to contribute proactively to help their neighbors. Whether you donate your time or provide monetary support, both ensure that we can continue our day to day operation.

Monetary donations give us more flexibility: North Valley Food Bank has the ability to purchase food at prices not usually available to the general public through the Montana Foodbank Network, etc.; monetary support enables us to take advantage of local sales and buy what we need when we need it.

Our goals are simple: to help those who need it and make every donation count.

All of us continue to care about those living in Whitefish and surrounding communities. North Valley Food Bank is the perfect conduit to funnel “rescued food” to individuals and families in need. North Valley Food Bank volunteers have built a solid foundation to take their mission far into the future. We are committed long as we are needed.

Become a gleaner:   Have fun and collect food that would otherwise go to waste.

Share your garden bounty:  Even if it is fruit from a single tree, it is welcome and will be put to good use.
